Tactus is the kind of man who would happily give his life away to save someone else, to be killed while protecting someone or something important is an ideal way to leave this world in his mind. He is protective and calculating, he plans his schedule for each week and starts to stress when something unexpected happens. One can only rarely see it though, Tactus has learned to hide his feelings with a calm and cool mask that radiates confidence.
He respects the ranks and the old traditions of the centaurs and doesn't like to be underestimated among the other warriors just because he is young.
Tactus cares what people think about him and doesn't speak about his worries in front of others, it could decrease the morale too much and people respect and trust more a warrior who stays strong and calm at the dark times. But when he is alone, he allows the worries take over his mind and the calm mask to drop down. Biography:
Born as the oldest son of a warrior family, Tactus was taught to obey orders and fight from an very young age and his father always expected only the best from him. His brother was treated more gently, but because Tactus had accepted his role as the oldest son and knew what was wanted from him, he didn't complain even once and endured the harsh lessons. He grew out to be a fine man and eventually he earned his place among the respected warriors and got permission to use the body paints only given to the fighters of the village. His brother was allowed to choose what he wanted to do with his life much more freely and he became an scholar and set out to study more about the world and the people living on it.
On his teens, Tactus didn't love or haty any race he thought that everyone should work together and forget the old grudges but it soon chanced after a mission that went horribly wrong. It was his first time stepping outside of the centaur lands, the mission was to secure a group of merchants that were headed to the human lands but on their way there a group of human bandits surprised the group at a dense forest. The centaurs could have easily killed them at a more open area, but the trees and roots made moving around difficult and as an result two centaurs were killed and three injured badly on that day. And the merchandises were lost, on top of everything. Tactus began to see the other races in a more reserved way and he often cursed his foolishness of thinking about a world where everyone could live side by side without spilling any blood.
Time passed and since Tactus's brother didn't show any sights of returning back to his home village where the older brother was stuck with no escape, all the responsibilities that had been loaded on their fathers shoulders were all dropped on Tactus's back when the father passed away.
The young centaur felt like he couldn't survive from all this and only with his mothers support he stayed on his feet and didn't run away from all the new duties. He still wishes, that he could have someone by his side to help him recover from the stress when things got hard, but because his father had died only recently a thought about getting married right after the funeral was out of the question. After that, that idea has pretty much fled Tactus's thoughts and he has mostly focused on his work.Other:*

Tactus soaked the large brush in to the dark purple paint bowl and wiped the extra liquid on the edge of the clay bowl, before pulling it closer to himself and reached down to his feet. He carefully paints a straight line around one of his four feet and made sure that it looked neat. He had done this hundreds of times before, but he liked to do this in peace just because painting on your own body in a rush didn't work all that well.
The man kept painting in silence, eyes focused on every move his hand made and eventually he got his front feet painted. He was about to soak the brush again, but then someone rushed in to the room and startled Tactus, making the man press the brush against the bowls edge. The clay bowl swayed roughly towards the edge being pressed down and ended up falling down and spilling the paint all over Tactus's side. “O-oh my...” He mumbled and rubbed his forehead slowly, not noticing that he was also spreading some paint on his face.
